Just When You Thought It Couldn't Get Any Worse.

The death toll is estimated at 200,000, according to Haitian government. Lets not mention the 80,000 that are buried in mass graves. This is so sad to hear. Seeing all those dead bodies in the street with no real graves to rest in peace can take a toll on you.
Lets not forget that, there are food and water shortage in supplies. And we all know that it escalades the threats of violent acts. Neighborhoods that have not been badly destroyed have banned together to keep outsiders from robbing, stealing, lastly, taking prize possessions for their own benefits. People we have to understand that people will do anything to survive. In a sense, i feel for people on both sides of the fence. I know what it feels like to have something and then have it taken from you. I also, know how it feels to have nothing and the only way to get it was to take from another person for my survival or survival of a family member in need. These people have no-where to go, they have no homes to go to. They are living in the streets.

I read that the commission raised its estimate of homeless to 2 million, from 1.5 million, and said 250,000 people needed urgent aid. Doctors are complaining that they don't have enough Morphine to treat patients that are in pain and not to mention that the damaged hospitals and emergency medical centers set up in Port-au-Prince needed surgeons, fuel for generators, oxygen and countless other kinds of medical supplies.
We can help by, "Texting" Haiti to, 90999 for a Ten-Dollar Donation to The Red Cross. I give my hats-off to the people that has contributed and are currently helping those in need at this time in Haiti.
